Utility bills got you down? When I can't use my clothesline during the winter months, I like to hang some of my lighter clothing items on my stairway banister. This is especially nice for more delicate clothing that you want to last.
However, I do find that heavier items like jeans, towels or blankets are better off being dried in the dryer, at least until it's time to use the clothesline again!
I tuck away a basket full of plastic hangers in a nearby linen closet so that when I am not hanging laundry I can easily tidy up!
(Tip: be sure that you are giving enough space between clothes to allow the air to dry them and do this in a well-ventilated area to prevent excess moisture)
